What is mediation? Simply put, mediation is the negotiation between disputing parties, assisted by a neutral party. While it is not empowered to impose a settlement, the mediator’s presence allows the parties to understand each party’s position on the matter in dispute and better resolve their conflict. DRC has helped resolve disputes worth millions of dollars, and we strive to counsel and educate our members to prevent and resolve disputes through our informal mediation process.
As a member of DRC since our inception we have found the resources and protection DRC provides us as both a broker and carrier to be invaluable! You shouldn’t be in the produce business without a membership, regardless of your role!
