The DRC Trading Standards are general rules of conduct for members to adhere to. They act as default rules when parties cannot agree on the terms of the sale. If members want to create a contract with their vendors that does not conform with the Trading Standards we will refer to that contract during the dispute resolution process rather than the DRC Trading Standards.
As a member of DRC since our inception we have found the resources and protection DRC provides us as both a broker and carrier to be invaluable! You shouldn’t be in the produce business without a membership, regardless of your role!
