{"id":2245,"date":"2019-07-17T11:00:56","date_gmt":"2019-07-17T15:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fvdrc.com\/?p=2245"},"modified":"2020-06-18T14:57:24","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T18:57:24","slug":"load-damaged-by-transit-temperatures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fvdrc.com\/es\/solutions\/load-damaged-by-transit-temperatures\/","title":{"rendered":"Cargamento da\u00f1ado por temperaturas en tr\u00e1nsito"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>P: Recibimos un cargamento de hortalizas mixtas de un embarcador y solo parte del cargamento mostraba da\u00f1os por congelaci\u00f3n.\u00a0 El resto del producto tuvo temperaturas adecuadas de pulpa y no present\u00f3 indicaciones de da\u00f1os por congelaci\u00f3n.\u00a0 \u00bfC\u00f3mo puede ser posible que las temperaturas de la pulpa var\u00eden tanto dentro del remolque?<\/p>\n<p>R: Para responder a c\u00f3mo pudo pasar esto, comencemos por recordarles que los remolques tienen la responsabilidad de mantener las temperaturas durante el tr\u00e1nsito. No tienen como intenci\u00f3n enfriar o calentar el producto.\u00a0 Las tres principales razones que se nos vienen a la mente como posibles causas de da\u00f1os por congelaci\u00f3n de solo una parte del cargamento son: a) El producto fue cargado a una temperatura superior a la que se calibr\u00f3 la unidad refrigerante; b) Una mala distribuci\u00f3n de la carga bloqueando el flujo de aire o el ducto de aire; o, c) Mal aislamiento t\u00e9rmico del remolque o condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>a) El producto fue cargado a una temperatura superior a la que se calibr\u00f3 la unidad refrigerante <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Conocimiento de Embarque indica que las temperaturas se deben mantener a 33<sup>o<\/sup>F (0.6<sup> o<\/sup>C). El producto se carg\u00f3 con una temperatura de pulpa de 38<sup>o<\/sup>F (3.3<sup>o<\/sup>C); el punto de congelaci\u00f3n del producto es de 30.5<sup>o<\/sup>F (-0.8<sup> o<\/sup>C). La unidad de refrigeraci\u00f3n se calibr\u00f3 a 34<sup>o<\/sup>F (1.1<sup>o<\/sup>C) en modo continuo. Cuando esto ocurre el sensor de retorno de aire va a comenzar a detectar la temperatura del producto (38<sup>o<\/sup>F\/3.3<sup>o<\/sup>C) y el mensaje que transmitir\u00e1 a la unidad refrigerante es que necesita bajar inmediatamente la temperatura del aire de descarga para bajar la temperatura en el remolque. Por lo tanto, el producto que est\u00e9 directamente expuesto a la descarga del ducto de aire podr\u00eda presentar da\u00f1os por congelaci\u00f3n pues la temperatura del aire que se descarga podr\u00eda caer por debajo del punto de congelaci\u00f3n del producto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>b) Una mala distribuci\u00f3n de la carga bloqueando el flujo de aire o el ducto de aire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Una distribuci\u00f3n de la carga que no permita la circulaci\u00f3n adecuada del aire puede resultar en que el sensor de retorno de aire \u00a0lea temperaturas m\u00e1s altas de la temperatura a la que se ha puesto la unidad de refrigeraci\u00f3n, transmitiendo por lo tanto el mensaje que se necesita descargar aire m\u00e1s fr\u00edo. Normalmente un ducto de aire bloqueado resultar\u00e1 en temperaturas de pulpa m\u00e1s altas en la parte delantera del cami\u00f3n y temperaturas de pulpa m\u00e1s bajas en la parte de atr\u00e1s del cami\u00f3n. \u00a0Esto se debe a que cuando la parte delantera del cami\u00f3n se comienza a calentar, la unidad de refrigeraci\u00f3n cree que necesita descargar aire m\u00e1s fr\u00edo y por lo tanto el producto m\u00e1s cercano al punto de descarga del ducto de aire se enfr\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>c) Mal aislamiento t\u00e9rmico del remolque o condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Si el producto se carga muy cerca de las paredes de un remolque con mal aislamiento t\u00e9rmico esto podr\u00eda resultar en da\u00f1os \u00a0por congelaci\u00f3n a las paletas m\u00e1s cercanas a los lados del remolque.\u00a0 Esto puede ser el resultado de temperaturas exteriores muy fr\u00edas en invierno o muy c\u00e1lidas en verano. De manera similar al ejemplo previo, la unidad de refrigeraci\u00f3n, para compensar y corregir el problema, descargar\u00e1 por lo general aire a temperaturas m\u00e1s bajas o m\u00e1s altas que el punto de temperatura al que se calibr\u00f3 la unidad.\u00a0 Por ejemplo, si un cami\u00f3n viaja por el norte de los Estados Unidos o de Canad\u00e1 en el invierno y no tiene un aislamiento t\u00e9rmico adecuado, hay una fuerte posibilidad que las paletas m\u00e1s cercanas a las paredes externas pudieran sufrir alg\u00fan da\u00f1o por congelaci\u00f3n.
